Pasta with Olives

Ingredients:

  • 300 g pasta (preferably penne or spaghetti)
  • 100 g black olives (chopped)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 handful of fresh basil
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

  1. While the pasta is boiling in salted water, heat the olive oil in a pan.
  2. Add the garlic to the pan and fry lightly.
  3. Add the cherry tomatoes and olives, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Drain the boiled pasta and add to the pan, stir.
  5. Add the basil leaves and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Optionally, add red pepper flakes and serve.
