Olive Bread
Ingredients:
- 500 g flour
- 20 g fresh yeast (or 10 g dry yeast)
- 300 ml of warm water
- 100 g black olives (pitted, chopped)
- 50 g green olives (pitted, chopped)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
Preparation:
- Add the sugar and yeast to the lukewarm water and let it stand until the yeast rises.
- Put the flour, salt and olive oil in a bowl, add the yeast water and knead the dough.
- Add the chopped olives to the dough and continue kneading until the olives are evenly distributed.
- Leave the dough to ferment covered for 1 hour.
- Shape the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
